What is Alchemi?

An independent platform company that builds, backs, and licenses technology for emerging markets. Alchemi operates across three sectors — Fintech, Decision Intelligence, and Supply Chain — and deploys capital through The Alchemi Investor Collective.

Alchemi draws on 50+ years of operational presence across the most complex environments on earth. That operational insight tells us which technologies work in emerging-market contexts. Alchemi is independent — a technology company, not a development organization.

The Alchemi Investor Collective is a group of people with shared interests — private capital flowing into new, lucrative markets in emerging economies where traditional venture capital isn’t looking, deployed into ventures that have already proven their model in-market.

The ventures are built commercial-first — they must be sustainable and profitable. They also reach underserved customers, so impact follows as an outcome rather than the objective. We target commercial returns, not concessionary ones.

Capital allocation models were built around formal economies and abundant infrastructure. Emerging markets operate differently, so capital either overlooks them or over-discounts them. Capital misprices markets it wasn’t built to see — and that gap is the opportunity.
